Develop Fundamental Skills

Our Knee High Ninja program is for students age 4 to 7 years old.

We practice attention (standing perfectly upright and still while listening to the instructor) and respect (bowing at the beginning/end of every class and when we enter/leave the facility) We enforce the use of "Sir" and "Ma'am" towards people of ALL ages.

We build confidence and character by teaching our students that they have control over their bodies and the ability to stand up to negative peer pressure and intimidation.

The movements practiced in our classes develop coordination and increase strength and flexibility, which is especially important during the early years.

The Way It Should Be

In order for students to advance to the next rank, there are several things required of them.

  1. Students must learn the required skill for their belt level
  2. Students must demonstrate good behavior in class
  3. Students must demonstrate good behavior in school
  4. Students must demonstrate good behavior at home

Once all requirements have been met, the student will be eligible for promotion.

Every Day Is Test Day

We don't believe in handouts or participation medals. In our class, EVERY DAY IS TEST DAY. Students are evaluated on their performance and learned skills in each class. When the student has fulfilled ALL requirements, they will become eligible for a promotion to the next rank.

Promotions, Not Tests

Our approach is quite different from the norm. Since every day is test day, there is no need for a "belt test". A rank promotion is granted when the student has shown proficiency in the required skills.

High Standards, Lowered For None

We believe in maintaining high quality training and expectations. We will never promote a student that doesn't apply themselves. Attendance isn't a factor in progression, only skill and determination.
